Microsoft Azure is a broad family of technologies which can seem overwhelming. Join us as we take a look at how to start planning and provisioning your own solutions. We’ll look at why understanding Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) vs Platform as a Service(PaaS) is important and how to decide which to use. We’ll then walk through how to get started with using PowerShell and JSON to build out your environment.
Speaker: Jim Leonardo
Jim Leonardo is an application architect and software development manager with nearly 20 years of development experience who still loves to code as a large part of his day job. He has primarily built enterprise solutions using Microsoft technologies with teams ranging from tiny to huge. Since 2013, he’s been focused on designing and building custom applications hosted in Azure for a variety of clients.
After 6 years working with Capax Global, Jim recently joined kCura to help out on their Azure based Software as a Service platform. When he has a moment not in front of a computer, he enjoys working on his model railroad.
