WORKSHOP WITH MICROSOFT: POWERAPPS AND FLOW

Microsoft and SPR are hosting a hands-on, hackathon-style business process automation workshop that is open to business and technical audiences – no coding experience required!  Our goal for the day is to show you how to solve real-world process automation issues across applications and data, and have you build your own process automation solution before the end of the day.

We know that not every business problem can be solved with off-the-shelf solutions, and developing custom solutions has traditionally been too costly and time consuming for many of the needs teams and departments face—especially projects that integrate across multiple data sources or require delivery across multiple devices from desktop to mobile. As a result, too many technology needs end up unsolved or under-optimized. People piece together spreadsheets, email chains, and manual processes to fill in the gaps.

By combining the Common Data Service, Flow, and PowerApps, you can automate many of these processes, eliminating manual steps and the work involved in them.  The day will be focused on education and hands-on activities – here is the agenda outline:

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Line-of-business managers, analysts with titles such as Process Consultant, Group Manager/Director. IT titles include Consultant, Designer, and Manager/Director.

PREREQUISITES

Attendees bring their own computing device with the following specs: computer with 2-cores and 4GB RAM running one of the following versions of Windows: Windows 8, (64-bit preferred), Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 or Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows Server 2012/R2 3. Mobile device – iPhone, Android or Windows Phone.
