A hands on look at how Visual Studio and Team Services sits at the center of the Microsoft DevOps story. Brian will discuss Microsoft’s journey to DevOps and run through a hands on exercise of using Visual Studio.
Speaker: Brian Keyes
Brian Keyes works for Microsoft where he is a part of the Developer Experience and Evangelism (DX) team. He primary focus is talking with developer teams on Microsoft’s DevOps suite. He has over 19 years’ experience in development and consulting. He was born and raised in Ann Arbor Michigan, he broke his father’s heart by attending Michigan State University where he studied Economics. Upon graduation, he immediately jumped into software consulting. Brian has worked with a variety of organizations including insurance, government, compliance, and software startups.
Brian lives in Oak Park with his wife Christine and three children; Gwendolyn (12), Will (10), and Penelope (6). Outside of work he is an avid home brewer and he also enjoys spending time fly-fishing the rivers of northern Michigan.
