Flow and Logic Apps: A Tale of Two Automation and Integration Engines

Presented by Sean Lawrence.

Microsoft Flow and Logic Apps are two powerful, modern and related technologies released relatively recently. Flow lives under the Office 365 umbrella while Logic Apps, Flows more advanced sibling, is an Azure product. We will be discussing the features and capabilities of Flow and Logic Apps then demonstrating the underlying power of both technologies leveraging simple demonstrations. We will then delve into the drivers that would distinguish why you would choose one platform over the other from a maturity and capability perspective. In this presentation, we will also briefly touch on how both platforms can integrate or consume the capabilities of related technologies such as Azure Event Grid, Azure Functions, and the various connectors available for data sources.
